Luminous flflux
The light energy emitted by the light source per unit time is called luminous flflux, which describes the total amount of light emitted by the light source, and its measurement unit is lumens (lm). The greater the luminous flflux of the light source, the more light it emits.
Light effiffifficiency
The luminous flflux produced by a unit of electric power consumed by a light source is called luminous effiffifficiency, which is expressed by dividing the luminous flflux emitted by the light source by the electric power, and its unit of measurement is lumens/watt (lm/w).
Light intensity
Describes the luminous flflux emitted by a light source in a unit solid angle in a certain direction in space, and its unit of measurement is candela (cd).
Illuminance
When the luminous flflux reaches a certain surface, the brightness of the surface is illuminated, which can be described by illuminance. The unit of measurement is lux (lx). It is defifined that the illuminance produced when 1lm luminous flflux is uniformly irradiated on a surface area of 1 square meter is 1lx.
Color temperature
When the spectral distribution of the light emitted by the light source is the same as the spectral distribution radiated by a black body that completely absorbs light at a certain temperature, we call the temperature of the absolute black body the color temperature of the light source. The lower the color temperature, the warmer the hue (reddish); the higher the color temperature, the colder the hue (bluish).
Color rendering
Color rendering is the objective effffect produced by the light of the light source shining on the object and the degree of appearance of the true color of the object. The color rendering index (Ra) is usually used to express the color rendering of the light source. The higher the color rendering index of the light source, the better its color rendering performance.
Light color
Light is essentially an electromagnetic wave. In the entire electromagnetic radiation spectrum, light waves occupy only a small part of it. Light consists of difffferent colors. Light waves with wavelengths between 380nm and 760nm are perceived by the human eye and are called visible light. Among the light waves, light with a wavelength of <400nm is called ultraviolet light, and light with a wavelength of >780nm is called infrared light. Color composition
From purple through blue, cyan, green, yellow, orange to red gradient colors, any of the three colors of red, green, and blue cannot be blended out of the other two. Moreover, they can be mixed in a certain proportion to form any color including white light, so these three colors are called the three primary colors. The main color composition relationship is shown in the table. If two colors contain exactly the same primary color components, they are called the same color; if the combination of two colors is difffferent but the difffference is small, then the two colors are called the similar color; if the two colors do not have any common components, the two colors are called contrast colors; if the two colors add up to form white, then the two colors are called complementary colors.
